Amino acids are the building blocks of all proteins and are vital to important process throughout the body all day long. Amino acids can be classed as BCAA (Branched chain amino acid), EAA (Essential amino acid) and Non-essential amino acid. BCAA’s are the primarily used for muscle tissue recovery and growth, whereas EAA’s and non-essential amino acids can be used for physiological processes all over. L-Glutamine is an amino acid which helps the body in numerous ways, particularly with muscle recovery and the prevention of DOMS (Delayed onset muscle soreness).

Branched chain amino acids include Leucine, Isoleucine and Valine and primarily tasked with building muscle. L-Leucine is considered the lead and most vital out of the group for this job but the benefits of L-Isoleucine and L-Valine must not be ignored as they all can work as a team to achieve the desired physical goal.
